The Hero

I would have to say im a Hero as warrior (Odysseus) since I faced alot of physical challenges due to all the sports that I play and all the external enemies that have been presented. Odysseus faced alot of hardships such as all the people who wanted to stop him from getting to where he wanted to go which was home. I face alot of hardships from people who wanted to stop me from getting to where I wanted which is the championship.

The Journey

Im on a journey to find my identity. My little brother always ask's me "Piers what if god brought you here to succeed in another sport other than football." I think about this and think what if im suppose to be a baseball player and not a football player.

My Mentors

My parents are my mentors. I cant choose one becasue they have both been there for me to aid and guide me through everything I've encountered on my journey of growing up. My dad is more of sports mentor because he's guided me through my long journey as an athlete. My mother is more of the turning me into a respectful son and great kid route.

My Threshold Guardian

My grandmother is my threshold guardian. She always stands in the way and breaks things down to reality. But she's always on my side in the end.

Shadow

The problems I have had with my wrist would have to be shadow. It all stared my eight grade year in football when I broke my wrist. I went to the doctor to see what was wrong with it because it had been bothering me they said it was probably just a bas sprain. So I fought through the pain and kept going but in the end it had got the most of me. A few months back I went to the doctor to see why it was still hurting. They told me I had broken my wrist and it had been that way for over a year they told me I would need a operation to repair my wrist. I had it completed and am now working to get back all flexibility. Who will win the battle in the end?

The Tricksters

My younger sibilings are the tricksters in my life. They know how to take something good and make it bad in an instance. They'll get you in so much trouble. But they always bring the laguhter to the table. Someone could have did something terribly bad my siblings will find some way to make everyone feel good in the end.

Physical Contest

I have engaged in alot of physical contest and the most memorable would have to be winning the Freshman Quarterback award at Texas A&M. It took alot of hard work and dedication to receive the award. It all paid off in the end and felt so good to be rewarded with the trophy.

Loyal Companions

I have a loyal group of companions which would be my family. Their always there to take care of me and have my back no matter the circumstances. We might have some disagreements here and there but in the end there's nothing but love.

Unhealed

My wrist being broken for so long was my unhealed wound on my journey. It was hard to deal with but I had to it was a part of life and im learning how to deal with it.

Monstorous Men

When I was in 5th grade I played against 9th and 10th graders in football. It was very different than playing against your own age group everyone was 2 feet taller than me and they were 150 pounds heavier than me. It was a challenge that I had to face.

Happiness

The happiness that would be in my life is finally finishing 9th grade. It went by fast. Me and 9th grade had our up's and down's. I just thank all my teachers for sticking with me.
